Finally, after her extensive journey, she returned to her home country, the Netherlands. There, she seized the opportunity to work full-time for an international dredging company. She served in the same company for the next few years. Despite having an income source and the opportunity to travel to countries, she was not interested in her job. So she quit her job, sold her bike and house, and travelled to India in 2018.

She conceived the idea of launching her travel blog as a means to earn income. She named her blog Itchy Boots and transitioned into a full-time traveller during her explorations in South Asia. She took a bike for rent. She documented her travel experiences through South Asian countries in her blog as well.

Later, she bought her bike, Royal Enfield Himalayan, and also bought GroPro. Subsequently, she chose to launch her YouTube channel and commenced creating documentaries focused on her travels.
